The ORBCOMM Transportation platform (OTP) (hereafter in the help referred to as "the platform") offers the unique ability for you to track, monitor and control all of your transportation assets in one place – from reefers, dry trailers and trucks to chassis and dry and refrigerated shipping containers on the road, rail and at sea. The scalable platform can accommodate any size of operation whether you have one or 100,000-plus assets. The comprehensive platform also integrates with sensors for fuel, doors, cargo, temperature, and more for unparalleled visibility.

Using ORBCOMM’s flexible APIs and extensive integrations, the open platform can seamlessly deliver rich asset data to your existing third-party or proprietary enterprise systems to facilitate optimal fleet management. In addition, you can access increased data and utilize the platform’s advanced analytics to gain valuable insights about your assets’ performance, including benchmarks, historic trends, and comparisons among asset types, enabling faster, more informed business decisions.

July - Sept 2025

- Updated the Saved Search feature. You can now select between Account - Specific or Hierarchy-Wide search options. The Hierarchy-Wide option allows you to save a report view that is accessible by all accounts within the hierarchy.

- You can now transfer units (asset / device pairings) between accounts within the same company (parent-child) hierarchy.
